October 10

Today in Literacy/History we continued to discuss howaboutwetalk‘s question: Why do we study History? Today we started an organizer for our answer to this question. We also discussed this quote: Historical knowledge is no more and no less than carefully and critically constructed collective memory. As such it can both make us wiser in our public choices and more richly human in our private lives.William H. McNeill

Then in Math we went over the 2004 Gauss test and determined the Number Sense questions. We also took up some of the more difficult questions.

Remember that the History project is due on Tuesday, October 14 and that the French commercial is due on Wednesday, October 15.
