In Science, the class got into their groups to plan and research their organ system presentation. We will have around a month to work on this in class.
In Phys. Ed., we continued practicing shooting basketballs and lay-ups.
In Music, we did hearing exercises (identifying bass and treble clef, and comparing notes and chords). We will continue next class.
In Literacy, we read an article on the Globe and Mail, and watched a video about the effects of the oil crisis. We also discussed capitalism, how everything is driven by supply and demand, as the best way to make money.
In Math, we continued on the previous subjects. We compared the value of the Canadian dollar and oil overtime. Then, we researched companies’ stock prices (Microsoft, Apple, and Blackberry).
There will be a sign up meeting for any Grade 7s interested going to Camp Onondaga soon.
