In Health, the Grade 7’s worked on an internet safety worksheet.  The Grade 8’s finished the ‘What’s For Lunch’ worksheet.

In Literacy, we silent read, and then wrote a response to the question ‘Which of these stories doesn’t belong and why?” about the three stories The Governor read to us.  We then discussed what poetry was.

In Math, the Grade 7’s worked on yesterday’s Math, as did the Grade 8’s.  After we finished, we worked on the other pages of questions.

In French, we watched the movie Shrek, and wrote the words we recognised in the movie.

In Library, we worked on our Social Justice projects.

Grade 8 Ottawa Trip Meeting

On December 4th 2014, there will be a parent information night for the Ottawa trip.  The meeting will be at Westview School at 6:00pm.

This trip is still pending approval from HWDSB.  In order to proceed with trip planning, we’re moving ahead with the meeting.

Trip forms and information from the tour company were handed out in class today and should be brought home to your parents tonight.
